I wanted a high-performance surfboard to bridge the gap between a longboard and a traditional shortboard. Having used my graphic design and illustration skills to create functional art for my boards in the past, I wanted to use my own original photography for this project.
Another board I used Photoshop to create can be seen here. And here’s one I illustrated using both Photoshop and Illustrator.
Myself
I had the idea for this photoshoot one evening while dining on linguini and clams. Imagine my wife’s surprise when I said “let’s not throw away these clam shells, I have an idea.”
I composited the table-top photo with an image I shot in Los Cabos, Mexico. Hence the title Bienvenidos a Los Cabos.
